Nearly all of the scarves worn by the Atlantian Provosts are unique. They are individually made by a friend or loved one for the original recipient. From time to time they may be passed from a long term Provost to a new one. Here are pictures of my current scarves.

My wife hand embroidered this one on linen. I use it for formal occasions (overall dimensions 4.75" x 54"):

Her Majesty Arielle gave me this scarf following my prize. It has her badge, a gazelle, and the badge of the Order (Overall 3.75 x 41"):

After I expressed concern about damaging either of these special scarves, my wife made me a quick and easy scarf with emboidery machine sea horses and a sewn in blue stripe. I use this one when I'm fighting. It's easy to clean and easy to replace if needed. This particular field scarf has been handed down several times; I now wear a very similar copy. The seahorse embroidery file, which I created, is available here. The alternating thread directions make a single color of thread look like different shades. Its overall dimensions are 6.5" wide by 64" long.

Kaleeb also made this shoulder scarf for me (dimensions are 6.75x19"):

When I was given a writ to join the Order of Defense, I did a lot of looking at what other people had done for their collar of state regalia. I decided I wanted something that would lie flat on my shoulders rather than across the back of my neck. That required a few darts be made in the otherwise straight piece of white leather. Baron Aiden of Kingswood did all of the leatherwork and other assembly of the collar. The "A" is for Atlantia. The 4 Pelicans combine my other Peerage onto the regalia, and the lynx at the back is from Fiore's manual (representing the virtue of prudence) and personalizes the collar by adding that interest of mine. The blue order medallion is from Combat Medallions. The fittings and the letters "A" are from Billy and Charlies, and the brass Pelicans and Lynx are from Revival.

The collar of state is really cool but is a little fragile for fighting with, so I asked Kaleeb to tablet weave a narrow white ribbon with an Atlantian blue pale (stripe down the center), like that on an Atlantian white scarf. From that, I attached a blue and white enameled medallion from Truly Hats. I wear it on the field. I also made a fencing hood with a wide white edge and an Order of the Pelican patch that I wear when actually fighting. Recently I embroidered a few OD order badges (the three crossed rapiers) in blue around the white stripe on the hood.

In May of 2025, I was recognized with the Order of the Laurel.  After some searching, I discovered that there were apparently no commercially available regalia options for folks with three SCA peerages. So, I had to turn to custom work. I have a number of items that are not completed and will be added here later, but here are the first two items.

Updated MoD collar

The first, obvious, update was to add the Laurel badge to my MoD collar.

My brother-in-law, Sir Peter Joynar, cast and enameled this custom medallion that combines the badges of all three peerages.

This is my field collar with a plain woven band and a Pelican/Laurel medallion.

I also have, in work,  a hood with embroidered artwork very similar to that on the custom cast medallion.
